Hello, Kindred!

Sometimes I've strange thoughts in my head... (Yes, I know that there'll be no continuation, but still I'm interested):

1) Is it possible to limit the number of possible diableries to 3? Or make it so that after the 4th diablerie in the player awakens eternal madness - in your body a lot of souls and they are fighting among themselves...
Can I write these conditions myself in scripts or somewhere else?!

2) So, can possible to register separate lines of dialogue for a diablerist? I would explain this by saying that sometimes the souls of absorbed vampires can break into a conversation... instead of the protagonist. DDD

What variables will I need to prescribe to make this work in the game?

You can create a variable to count the diableries of course. You can add a lines with this variable condition in dlgs. Look like it will need an intesive testing...
Remember that only 4 dlg options could be displayed. If you have more choices avalaible, dont be displayed.

Which of the songs bundled with CQM 4.1 are licensed from bands or taken from other games?  To put it another way, what tracks aren't from the original VTMB game or the game soundtrack created by Rik Schaffer?  I'm considering a playthrough using the mod on my YouTube channel, but I can't have any copyright strikes or content id claims on my videos just for a couple music tracks.

I'm aware of the 'licensed' folder in the vanilla game.  I already have replacement tracks for those.

My suggestion is to take the Unofficial Patch to compare which songs are by Rik and which are new

There are quite a lot of music files in the CQM folder.  I'm certainly looking through things as you suggested to try and figure it out for myself.  I'm new here so I don't know who currently updates the mod or if the creator is still active, but if they're around it would be infinitely more reliable for them to make a list of what they used since they would know better than anyone else.  The only thing that tipped me off that this was an issue is the presence of a song from a Hitman game, which had metadata picked up by Windows in the folder view.

I realize this is a bit of a niche request.  I'm sure using whatever music you want works for 99% of players.  It just doesn't work for my particular scenario - I can't put 2000 videos created over the course of five years at risk just to use a mod that seems fun, so any definitive help is appreciated.

I would suggest to contact the creator burgermeister himself about this. I'm sure his email adress or Twitter or whatever is somewhere in the readme...

That's a good idea.  Just sent him an email.  I'm slightly embarrassed that I didn't think to check the readme for contact info myself.

Edit: He got back to me.  Copying over the info he gave me in case anyone else wants / needs to know this at some point.  Please note that there may be some spoilers for players who are new to VTMB / CQM

Spoiler for Hiden:
carpathian-forest-a-forest - Combat music in Hazel's church and ventrue tower
closer-remix - The Mack's brothel
cucharachas-enojadas - The Mexican bar in East LA
dark-halls - Hazel's church -- This one I'm not sure about it. It's a remix of a track from the original DOOM. I'm not sure if the original track is in public domain or if the artist's rendition is a fair use of the original track or what. Honestly, it's probably fine. Credit was given to the remix artist.
enjoythesilence - The sex scene with Kalliyan
sabbat-end - The Sabbat end scene (obviously)
shoot-it-up - The Mexican bar in East LA
typeonegative_christianwoman - VV's strip dance
victoria-music - Victoria's den

There's also a cumbia track in the Mexican bar I added but it is in the public domain so no worries there. You might consider replacing the other two tracks from the Mexican bar with just this one song, but if you do, make copies of the file rather than deleting them or you might break the music player on that level.

I've a question about girl named arianna.
In some dialogues her name write as "ariana", for example, mack.dlg, 251 line.
Which version of her name should be correct?

By now, in the Russian version her name written as "Арианна" (arianna).

You can install them on separate folders and play them separately, just keep them separated. Never merge stuff from one patch or major mod into another one!
