Here in Italy Andrea is also a name for women

Avadonica already made me a press pass for "Melanie", so with the next version there will be Mel for males and Melanie for females.

I took a fresh copy from the VPK this time. I must have take a test file from Wong Ho when i try to correct his phone, oops!

I have checked it and no more errors in the console. I have also checked the female misc and the file was not touched before i change it.

I include the fat animation as a test for the lap dance cinematic. Some tweak to do and we'll see.

No problem, it works fine now! I'll probably only keep it inside the Prelude though.

I won't take that for the patch anyway as otherwise all blowjobs would look dumb!

It looks better already! The other two models to be changed are:

models/cinematic/Hollywood/Vesuvius/Lap_danceGroup_2.mdl
models/cinematic/Hollywood/Vesuvius/Lap_danceGroup_3.mdl

Here the four lap_dances, even the first one, not tested with females toons but with the males and we can see they are little smaller so the mdl must be good for the females too.

Sadly the neck areas of the males downstairs in the Vesuvius do not look good now which is worse than the one time female cutscene. The first model you made was a bit better in that regard! Can you please look for a middle ground?

I thought you would change lap_dancegroup_2.mdl by lap_dancegroup_2_female.mdl with the vtx files as in the theater map:

"BaseAnim" "models/cinematic/Santa_Monica/Haven/Embrace_bips1.mdl"
"force_lod" "1"
"MaleAnim" "models/cinematic/Santa_Monica/Haven/Embrace_bips1.mdl"
"FemaleAnim" "models/cinematic/Santa_Monica/Haven/Embrace_bips1_female.mdl"

so the game will switch to the gender of the PC.

Anyway i don't think i can make the male better with a female neck.

I don't know how to swap anything in a vtx file, but I might just swap these animations in the map itself! I'll try it tomorrow...

Just for curiosity, how many chapters have you planned?

Hey guys, time for a progress report.
I recently finished working on some maps and now Wesp is fixing them and adding details and makes sure they're actually playable  In the meantime I'm working on even more new maps. We 're progressing faster this time since we all learned from creating Prelude 1.
Wesp is also taking care of issues we still have in Prelude 1 and once they're fixed he can completely focus on the new maps I made for Prelude 2.

The screenshots below show a section of the hub I remade completely, the exterior of the nightclub we'll have in the mod, and the interior of the L.A. Sun building.
The L.A. Sun building looks pretty empty the way it is right now, but Wesp is going to take care of that while I'm designing more Maps, like I said.

Hope you like it! Your questions and thoughts are very welcome.

BTW, now that we're making pretty consistent progress it's time to finally take care of some cosmetic things. Right now we use the Gangrel model for our PC, but it's not supposed to stay that way. If anybody would like to help us by reskinning some models, we'd really appreciate that!

Looks incredible!  :haw:  Clearly not just a copy-paste job of the vanilla sets and very nicely put together.
Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.
