There is another way as Dan made 2 export scripts that saves the file as .mdlx.

This will require you to copy the original .mdl from the game directory structure into the same directory that vamped extratcted your pc/npc character to so you should have a .mdl and .x in the same folder where you imported the .x from.

You will need Dans bloodlines_mod mdlx export script(Paine's site?) now what you do is when exporting is start the export, select the original mdl file then it will export a file as a .mdlx and this is the file you want, now copy it over ingame dlete the original mdl (I remame it to orig_blah blah for obvious reasons) then rename the mdlx to .mdl. Presto happy

Anyone have any idea where to find this? I can't find it on Caine's site and Google failed me.

I've looked seemingly everywhere (Even a Russian forum) with no luck.

Maybe he got the author wrong?
It kinda looks like this, but I don't know shit about modding.

Wow. That ALMOST worked, but it might be that I'm just doing something wrong on export. (But I'm importing a different .mdl file type and then trying to convert it...).

Still looking but your help is appreciated.

On a side note is anyone familiar with fragMotion? It's useful for editing models from Half-Life 2,fragMotion is capable of importing vampire .x files, but cannot export as them or vampire .mdl's. I'm playing with the code right now to see if I can get a script to edit .mdl's. I don't have much experience programming though so don't expect anything, but its a lot less intimidating than Blender which has a threatening interface.

If you want to check it out you can get it here:

No. I referred to him by name rather than his Alias wink

 No Problem.

I enjoyed it while it lasted. I doubt the MMO will have much to offer me as I don't play them, nor do I pay to play online, but you never know.

I have 2 projects in the works. One that I have already started, and one pending both for the creations forum wink

 Regards...

Hi,
I'm not a model expert, but I guess I know what's wrong with your models.

About the prostitute - the shoes probably reach down underneath the model's spawnpoint. The spawnpoint is kind of like the model's origin (coordinates 0, 0, 0) and the game uses it to calculate when the model of an entity, which is affected by the in-game gravity, hits the floor. Any parts of your model that have a negative z value will sink into the ground.

As for your second problem, there's a simple solution for it, I think. DDLullu created a tool with which you can copy one of the seven original player models' character sheet animations into any other model. All it does is overwriting the ACT_DIE_RAGDOLL animation and I think one can live with that.
You can find the tool in the Extras folder that comes with the Unofficial Patch.

Yeah, I try to cheange this " fulcrum"  and what do you guess I'll see in the game? Well, I was little shok! It look like Tzimisce girlfriend :D

Little break her bones...)

In Antitribu mod I find very cool models and I want made smth like that. But for PC, not NPC.

As I can see, they use Heather body and Jeanett skirt. I have prepared all models what I need. How can I make the game use VV body with Jeanette hair for PC?

That's quite a lot of work, because you'll probably need a logic_auto entity on every map...
This logic_auto then needs to execute a python function, which spawns a prop_dynamic_ornament (I think that's the right entity, but I'm not 100% sure right now) and attaches it to the player model.
You can check Antitribu's vamputil to learn how they're doing this with the shoulder pats and the mask.

Damn, yeah, it's too much work for every map and evry python doc. :(( Well, I didn't find any Logic near NPC, or near Land Mark on the map, so I hope they did it more simple. Thanks :)
And I didn't play in antitriby for all PC clans, they use this metod for PC? I have seen all clans and I think, that they didn't.
