  •                 Wicked!  Thanks for the help.  I didn't have the Bloodlines_mod export, I had a Vamped .x one but a quick search in my vampire folder (the one I store everything related to VtM in) I found the right export and was able to export a .mdlx and replace the original .mdl in game with it.  I can't say for sure my changes were made, I took the Prostitute and smoothed out her part to make a rounder bob cut and it looked like it worked in game.  I'll do something more drastic, like give her a Pinocchio nose, and see if it changes in game but from what I saw her hair did look smoother.

Its amazing how that one little snowman exercise has made these changes so easy.  She is a less detailed model so its easier to pick out the points on her but grabbing points and smoothing them out was easy.  Like I said I'll have to try something drastic to see for sure my changes worked in game but I'm happy happy   Thanks!!

You suggested I try something simple like hiding Damsel's hat.  Did you mean to grab the hat and hide it inside her body or make the texture invisible so the triangles were still there but you couldn't see them?  I have some ideas I'll try later (making skirts/hair longer/shorter) but one mod I'm interested in is based off the dark-skinned stripper and I'd like to get the tassles off her nipples and the money off her bikini strap.  Would it be easier to move those parts inside the body of the model or to make them non-visible?

  •                 Yep just scale her hat inside her head once it all has been selected. You could make the uv faces invisible too so when all of them are selected for the hat, click invisible and you will notice only one face is invisible now all you do below invisible is click on copy draw mode and thats you made it all invisible.

I have decided to stick vv's face on jeanette and gave jeanette a pony tail(It's still being funky but it will be tweaked)some gloves that aren't just painted on and knee length boots but not textured properly yet and still needs a tweak here and there.

I could see where you were going with your Forever vv skin from the image included so partly why I did it so you can see what you want to achieve is possible happy  Only different thing with vv is the high heals but I don't see that as a major issue with her model and them gloves will go a lot higher than what you see in the image.

     Regards...

Edit: Forgot about stripper question, yes just do what you said regarding hiding and invisble inside body.

No idea if it will work or not on the stripper your on about. I had the tassles of off misti a while back and her nipples where not very well textured and her money was able to be removed into the body. Also if you look at misti's pony it isn't connected to the head close up.

  •                 I've got a couple of PS tutorials I want to do as well to get textures like skin, leather or hair coloured without having to borrow from other skins.  Your's looks neat.  Whenever I tried to get Jeanette's body tga from the original pack files it would be so faint that I couldn't make out anything except the boots (if I copied and pasted a dozen times to make the image darker).  VVs was light, almost like the transparency of the layer was 50% or less but copying and pasting several times I got a nice solid image.

Yeeesh!  And I thought I done her wrong with the nose!  That was intentional, lol.  This..... I got no clue about this, lol.  I should try making my model her's and see if my hands look as fugly.  Her head looked too small for her body so I tried making it a bit smaller and more petite and it looks fine in Blender but in game, damn!  She ain't getting any male customers that's for sure!

Hey, she's turning out to be a great Tzimisce, lol.  Good thing I keep backups grin
I think I'm going to stick with her hair and leave the rest of her alone, lol.

  •                 Hey I think I've played with the Free Transform tool in PS too much cuz now I want to know if I can do some things similar to it on Blender in the 3D model mode.

I've been doing drastic changes with Sizing and Grabbing just to see what I could do and how it looks in game and I'm wondering about more stuff.  In this pic (though the tied vertices might make it not good in game but I'm just using it as an example) I've selected a part of hair on the model.  Is it possible to turn the selected piece, from this angle, in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction?  I've used the Green, Blue and Red arrows to move the section up/down, right/left and forward/backward  but say I wanted to make a ponytail out of it and keep the top part where it is but move the bottom part away from her body.  Or to narrow the bottom to be the same width as the top?

I'm just playing with some of the hairstyles and seeing just what I can get away with in game because with a new hairstyle and facial textures the models could get more variety.

To roate what you have selected. you will have to use rotate( R key) then hit x for x axis , or y or z. So select your verts, hit r then staright after x,y, or z. If it is the wrong axis just hit the y key if it was x just before, so if I press r then x then y in a straight row, im on the y axis if you follow me.

The same apply's to scale, hit s after selecting the verts then scale along the x,y or z.

If the hair for a ponytail is static in the first place then it will suck with non movement and when you crouch it will cut through the back like a eyesore.

  •                 Her hair moves freely so I'm wondering if it would do that as a ponytail but I'm getting off track.  Like I said I'm playing with different things just to see what I can do and I'm using stuff like her hair because it does move and I want to see how my adjustments affect the movements.

I've done something blond and I can't figure out how to undo it.  I was hovering over the dropdown box to see if there were hotkeys I could use to switch between UV select and Edit faster and it listed some hotkeys but not what they would do.  F, V, Tab and ctrl-tab but I must have hit a wrong button somewhere because now my model is almost pure black, except for some area where the light hits her shoulders.  I can't figure out how to get the texture back.  It won't show in Object mode or in in UV select mode (though on the right I'll still see the image and where the UV appears on it.  Do you know what I might have done wrong?

*Cancel*  I played around until I finally got the UV to export.  UV > Scripts > Save UV Face Layouts.  Then make sure only Wrap and Object are selected (All faces gave me a mess of everything) and click OK then save navigation comes up in the bottom window.  The export size is a perfect square and it lets me adjust the size but only the width so I set it at 2x the width of the image I'm working with, save and open in PS, then adjust it back to the correct width (without clicking constrain proportions) and it was the right size to paste onto my texture.  Inverting the image also changed the white to black and black to white so I have 2 layers for when I'm working with dark or light colours.

Thanks for all your help!  Playing with blender is a lot of fun.

MMM, vertex paint mode that sounds like.

Go into mesh tools and where it says vertex colour , below that there should be a col selection with a x next to it, click the x to delete it. Does that help? Don't delete the uv texture above that.

     Regards...

I was curious if the redhead Jeanette with the cool boots was going to be a skin you'd release or if it was just you playing around in Blender.  She looks pretty cool happy

I hadn't thought about releasing it. I haven't thought that far ahead.

It started off as messing around but I am going to try to fix the pony being funky which I believe if I just do it here and there with a little patience, It will get sorted. The textures need sorting a bit as I am not happy with them as they are at present but wether I release it or not is down to the pony getting sorted out.

She is called JeVel btw happy  Pet names now lol, wtf is that about?

I've been busy on other things happy

Shame that new weapons can't be added so that it is a extra weapon, Instead of it overwriting a present weapon sad

It still needs a little tweaking(mainly texture wise) here and there and this will be released soon as I get that finished off but I have no idea when that will be.

     Regards...

I have taken the skirt on the Prostitute 2 model and I've made it so tiny its practically microscopic.  It's  working the corner of Duodenum and Ileum trying to score so there is no sign of it in Blender anywhere unless I do a Colonoscopy and yet there it is in game!  First the back doesn't show but I can see the front and if I jump up and down the skirt falls all out of her ass back where it normally should be.  And I thought the tassels were being a pain in the ass!

Can you please tell me how to make the skirt invisible?  (then it can get a respectable profession stealthing around the bowels pickpocketing bacteria like an honest garment)

I already explained how to make a face/faces invisible in this thread. Select all the uv faces on the skirt, hit the invisible button to make one face invisible, copy draw mode. Done!

Btw, I'm pretty sick of this game at this moment in time(i have been for months) so I am going to leave you to it. If I don't have a rest from it, I know It will only lead to me never touching the game again.

I havent got the time to teach you how to use blender in and out, god I dont have the time to do most of the stuff I want to do.
