@Burgermeister: congratz for your project, I've just discovered it and was reading about it on moddb (until now I've been using Wesp u.p. only).
I was really impressed by the quality of the voice acting, along with the animations\cinematics.

As far as the content and the future developments, I'd like to ask you something:

 1) In the quest you added (and are going to add), how much did you take into account the different dialogue options (seduction, intimidation, etc..) and the different sex of the main character?
 2) Did you consider making different "endings\paths" for some quests, using the morality\umanity of the player as one of the keys?
 3) If the asnwer of the previous question is mainly negative, do you plan on upgrading the actual quests?
 4) Is the installation of the mods external to the clan quest mod optional?
 5) Will the project quoted HERE eventually help you (or others) in the development of further Bloodlines quests\mods? (hoping it can be completed)

Thx in advance for the answers, I'll eventually discuss it in my awesome Bloodlines thread  wink   (link)

 1. Most quests that involve some type of major dialog sequence will give the player a chance to employ skills of seduction, intimidation, or persuasion. There's even one point where you need both Inspection (in lieu of Occult) AND persuasion. For the most part gender only plays a role when trying to seduce others.

 2. Most quests have more than one way to beat them, but usually the outcomes change how the player affects the game world, rather than the player. But in the effort of the player changing/growing, most notable is the Tremere quest, where the final outcome of the quest depends on the player's humanity scores and their ability to persuade and / or compromise. It sounds a lot less confusing if you play the quest = )

 3. I'm pretty happy with the way most of the quests are designed right now. If anything, I'd go back and improve some of the mechanics of the quest. However, more than that, I'd rather make even more new quests!

 4. Yes, with one exception - Unofficial Patch. UP and CQM are pretty tightly bound together. You can however, choose whether or not to include the Plus Edition, thanks for Wesp's forward thinking! Likewise, all the other mods are optional.

 5. If Bloodlines Revival finishes, I would probably be more interested in making new maps for the game, which would presumably be a slam dunk if we had the game in the newest version of source. I admire the effort that team is taking, but for me, I think I'd rather work on the 'fun stuff' as this is a hobby after all -- even if that means having the creative capacity greatly tightened by the existing game's constraints.

Lotta questions! I appreciate your genuine interest!

For anyone that's interested, here's the map file for the revised Grout scene.

You can just drop this into any Vampire installation under the Vampire/maps directory. Of course, it would break anything added by any other mods to that map, but it's such a small map, I don't think anyone has put anything of lasting value there. And of course, this rendition of the map has the latest UP changes in it.

" makes him 'die' and just stand there."  "He doesn't explode he just stands there bubbling."
Is it possible they just didn't make Death animations for the so he can't fall, I wonder if there is a way to make him denigrate using the Vampire Ash Death?

"I think my girlfriend will think I'm crazy and/or perverted lol"
Haha, as if she doesn't know. tongue

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

burgermeister01 the Grout cutscene Angle, Shot and Timing are perfect, but is there a reason you can think of that would prevent custom skins from showing up? Currently I am using playing a female Malk with a custom Jeanette skin and it didn't show up.

 Thanks. happy
