Adding skills

People that took a look inside the stats.txt can see that there're several skills that are in the game code but are not displayed in the sheet. Like "animal-ken", "occult", etc... Is it possible to display those on the sheet and invest points on them? (perhaps will be interesting for a mod) I don't wan't to replace an existing skill for another, I know it's possible, I would like to add more in the sheet. I know it is possible for disciplines.

Sadly, I don't think this is possible. EntenSchreck looked into this a long time ago and while the possible effects are already hidden in the UP files, he never found a way to show the stats in the sheet, so we never implemented them.

Sadly, I don't think this is possible. EntenSchreck looked into this a long time ago and while the possible effects are already hidden in the UP files, he never found a way to show the stats in the sheet, so we never implemented them.
That's is sad. I tried yestesday and didn't find a way to do it. I will try to change animal-ken type from skill to discipline...In my tests, there're no limit for disciplines in the sheet...

I think there is a limit for disciplines too. As far as I know with more than 6 the hotkeys are not working anymore.

Even if there's no room, you can have more han six and they are displayed, I tested with 9, and there's no problem...

Strange that Lenuska made such extra efforts for her new disciplines in the Antitribu Mod then.

Lenuska made new disciplines, I don't know if it works. But you can add all existing disciplines for your player and it works. I would try changing animal_ken keymapping to "NameMapping"   "DisciplineLevel"

That is pretty cool, maybe you can change the message box size to accommodate the new layout?

Even so, it wouldn't help in adding new disciplines or restoring old stats...

Sadly no. I think attributes and skills to display are "hardcoded" for all clans. Disciplines no. That's the reason you can add or change them. I think we only can replace skills for others.

Maybe Troika limited the stat display because otherwise it would overlap into the discipline section which would be critical as both look very similar. Maybe nobody checked if too many disciplines would overlap the text window because it is defined elsewhere...
