I found the tape in the cemetary but Issac said the beginning was missing so I'm investigating snuff stuff.

Edit: Also, I had like 30 or so experience points saved up so I maxed celerity and still couldn't do it. In my defense, I'm playing with a controller so lining up a headshot quickly is.... not gonna happen, heh. It takes me an extra second or two to line up a headshot - and I generally miss anyway unless I get really close.

The only time I remember to have won that mission was with a Lasombra (from Antitribu), using the grenade launcher (from the Arsenal mod included in AT) and using cheats for invulnerability, infinite blood and ammo and instant reloading. Then I had also to slow down myself in fear of burning up my own pc hahaha

In fact the zombie quest is doable with every clan and without the use of disciplines but is more like exploit or boss fight tactics and definitely not a "go ahead" situation. I usually only use a katana.

With that set-up, seems hard to lose, haha.

@Pumma - I tried melee but I kept getting grabbed. Shooting them from way far away seemed to get me a little closer to a win.

Edit: I don't have a katana yet, just the fire axe. When I find one, I may try melee again. However, pretty sure celerity isn't maxed anymore, I think I re-loaded a previous save, slept with Romero and spent the points on other stats, :(

All I am saying is that there is trick that allows the player to do the quest even with a melee weapon, but this trick would be a spoiler for a first playthrough. Normally it is impossible to do it with melee weapon and no disciplines or guns. And I don't want to spoil your game further.

Ah, I see.... Y'know, I was about to type that I don't use cheats, but I use little 'starter' mods I made for myself and my friends in the fallout series, which adds a chest of caps and a few thousand rounds of ammo. Same thing in the Elder Scrolls, except there it's steel armor and weapons plus a bunch of gold.

Hell, I recently just started uploading more serious mods (one that makes the reticle in Alpha Protocol 10x smaller and another that makes the flashlight in FEAR stay on) but they're basically cheat mods too. :(

Just out of curiosity, have you found your ginger yet?

I think I saw her at the Gary's party, lol

Truth be told, it's easy to lose. Lose your computer XD

What did I do today in the World of Darkness? Well....

I'm playing through Bloodlines for the first time(with no prior knowledge of anything WoD/VtM related, btw...) I'm a guy, but my character is a female Toreador named Annabelle. For history I chose homosexual. I probably won't chose that again, doesn't seem to effect anything/matter? Was really hoping you'd meet your ex GF and have to make a choice of some kind. It's not looking likely. :(

A few days ago, I met a kinda-kool-but-creepy guy in a cemetary. After trying and failing his little quest a half dozen times, I thought to myself, 'what would a not-dead chick named Anna do? She'd find a way....'

Then I slept with him for experience. :)

Yesterday, on my quest to find a ginger, I stopped by to catch up and realized I could sleep with him again! I didn't, though. Anna has to have some standards dammit!

Instead, I tried to defend the cemetary from the zombie horde - yet again - and failed and re-loaded - yet again! Then I went on my way.

Today I went toe-to-toe with a stone Gargoyle wielding my trusty fire axe. Not a good idea.

The guy in the cementary, Romero, can be used as a blood doll, if you sleep with him.
The zombie shooting quest is really hard. I think, I did it once, but swore to never try again :)

I couldn't force my fem vamp to sleep with him again; they are both mature adults and decided it was a mistake the first time and shouldn't happen again. :)

Besides, the last time I fed on a bum, I puked up his blood! :D

(It scared the hell outta me too! First time I've seen that. I thought my character was about to die!)

You don't sleep with him again, it's just feeding animation. He is not a bum, so you can feed as a Ventrue from him. I'm playing as a Ventrue at the moment for the first time (not my favorite clan) and must say, the not feeding on bums or rats is a bummer (yeah pun intended, I guess ;))

So, my Ventrue lady arrived in Hollywood, did the quests for VV and Ash (and even managed to be nice to VV and what did she get - an autograph ... that was just ... no) and recruited the Gargoyle for her fellow anarchs. Then she walked the way of the Kings, I won't go into detail from here on, since I don't know, if curseofnight had done that quest yet. Let's just say, she had done all she could in Hollywood and is ready to move on.

And I started writing a VtM novel - a crossover with my own world. It is just some kind of exercise for another, bigger story, that I'm writing, that has nothing to do with WoD, but with lovecraftian horror, but for character development, I've decided to put my main characters into another world to see, how they would do

Speaking of Vampires and Lovecraft, I heard that these are connected in VtM V5. Does anybody know anything specific about this?

I hope it will deal less on the derived and bladant show off of tentacles and fiendish stuff and more on the principal aspect of Lovecraft's art: the psychological and atmospheric tension where you fight to keep your mental sanity.

No, but I like the idea. The V5 rulebook is next on my list, now I'm even more excited
