Heather's Fate

What do you ladies and gentlemen do when it comes to Heather?  Do you keep her as a ghoul or do you send her away?  For me since I pity her I usually send her away.  I look at it as my fledgling's last kind act of humanity.  Like I said I pity her she has no one except her grandma, and when she does find someone else they're a vampire who feeds on her.  Though I do keep her when I play as a Malkavian, she is hilarious.

I don't know. She has little to nothing in her previous life. At least with the player she has something to live for. I think the right thing is to keep her....

That's the problem she only had her grandma in her previous life.  The first couple of times I kept her especially with the Plus Patch, so I don't have to watch her get killed.  It's just the fact that she loves the fledgling so much, while the fledgling can't reciprocate those feelings, and uses her for blood and errands.

I always release her from my service, since I don't see the point of practically destroying her life for my own gain. Live and let live, simple as that.

There is a pretty good topic on Reddit about this i suggest you guys read it, you can do so here.
As for me i kept her, it depends on what type of person you are playing but the way i see it, either way she is doomed.

I send her away. The blood bond is abusive, and the game makes that pretty clear from the first. She also clearly had some kind of life prior, and the personality degradation you see just between talking to her outside Venture Tower and when she comes back to the LA apartment is already pretty horrifying. You get the impression that just being around the fledgling is bad for her sanity. And her adoration of the fledgling makes the game feel lonelier for me if anything.

I guess hypothetically if I had to be in her shoes, I'd prefer the fledgling saving me at the medical center, taking me back to their apartment, and then using Presence/Dementation/Dominate to wipe my memories so I wouldn't promptly go out and get ghouled again by someone worse. Still incredibly violating, but it leaves her both alive and (eventually) free, and I'd rather be both of those than dead or enslaved.

I agree if she wasn't so infatuated with the fledgling and was just a regular ghoul like Mercurio or Knox, I wouldn't feel so bad keeping her around.  But she sounds so desperate so eager to please when talking to the fledgling.  In my first playthrough I kept her because I did not really understand what was going on.  In my second playthrough this time with the Plus Patch I kept her again only because I had read that with the plus patch she can avoid her demise.  From my third playthrough and on I send her home as soon as I see her in front of Ventrue Tower.
