Anyway, since the album is now downloadable from their site (look at the article, there's an official link) it seems we will have a physical release.
This is what surprised me the most, I mean the offer the whole album in 320k for free right now. So everybody interested should grap it before they recognize their error ;)!

This version of the Downtown Theme seems to be the same one we heard in the VTMB2 gameplay footage. I wonder if that means anything...

Not to mention "Is It All Worth It," AKA Hollywood Part 2 - which was in the RTX trailer.

They were both conspicuously absent from the last album, which already had a couple of unused tracks.

I had assumed that was because they were going to be on the sequel's soundtrack - and I guess they might still be, but it just seems to me like an odd choice, to re-release the same bunch of tracks twice. Even if they're technically part of both games, just unused the first time around.

Not that I'm complaining! Give it all to me. I can't throw money at Rik fast enough, lmao.

There's just a small part of me that's worried they got rid of his work, when HSL were dropped from the project, and that's why we're seeing these tracks now...

If one day we can use these new songs where could these be placed?

My take:
- Nosferatu Warrens and Disturbed Combat in the warrens shortcut
- Dark Asia (album version) in the temple (leaving the game version in the other Chinatown places)
- both Mission Impossible used in the Ventrue Tower (I know they are similar but I'd really love to hear both)
- Sewer Enter Lair (creepy_ambience.wav) in Andrei's chamber (I mean in 609 King's Way)
- Extremities for Andrei's 2nd battle
- The Bite Is Eternal in the Santa Monica haven
- Downtown Theme (alternative version) in the theatre
- Out From Under in the Downtown haven
- The Death Of A Woman obviously for Heather's death (it's possible to execute a sound file from dialog?)
- Fat Larry when talking with him (or at the Red Spot if it's too complicate to add it)
- Club Afterglow for the diner (and using Clean as the combat theme)
- Disturbed And Twisted (original version) in the museum

what would you do?

A bit late, but oh well
Rik was (is still?) answering questions on reddit about his music. :D

And remember, only one day for the official release of More Music From The Vault!! <3

Edit: and it's out  !!

Update: apparently More Music From The Vault will be a digital-only release.

I just found a higher-quality instrumental version of Clean (albeit slightly shorter than the version used in the UP)...

I would've never guessed, lmao.

https://www.moddb.com/games/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines/addons/new-music-addon

I've built a small addon to help you install the songs you've legally bought into the UP.

Differences from my previous post:
- I've placed Downtown Theme (the alternative version) in the tutorial (when the sabbat attack so you can hear both versions)
- Fat Larry in the end was placed in the Red Spot (I know, it's a bit of a compromise but that's all I could do....)
