Interesting Old Preview
« on: June 25, 2021, 03:08:18 pm »
I was looking for some previews of Bloodlines and i found one here
It is really interesting and i wished they kept some parts of it.
Is there any videos for this? i kinda keep thinking there were more videos at some point but they didn't "make it into modern web"

note:i remember there was a topic for bloodlines alpha but i can't find it, merge it if needed.

I have known this article for a long time, but still it is very unclear how much of it was actually real. Some things are similar to the first E3 demo, but others seem to come from a PnP session they probably were running at the same time. Similar to the PnP sessions that Paradox showed in preparation of Bloodlines 2 which also were connected to the game in that they explained why Damsel is in Seattle.

The first part which he writes the backstory of his PC does seem something out of game....

Also the thing about LaCroix's mansion and also the Bloodlines player coming out of it is completely off. But other previews and a screenshot point to Jeanette being in the Vesuvius and asking for the Pearl of Dubai would fit with that, so this probably was in the demo. The item itself was still in the game files and I restored it for the plus patch, sadly no unused dialgue of her or anybody else...

I haven't read those previews then, but i know of screen shot.
Were there any more videos that were lost? i can restore lines based on them.

I don't think so, at least I never saw some.

And how do these lines have to be restored? You'll have to change completely the plot of the game....  :undecided:

Well they serve well enough for my mod. for gargoyle i decided to make it based on time you go to visit that level. if you go and visit it late then gargoyle would be in league with Sabbat. if you visit it sooner then normal conversation would start.
