OK; he just seemed more Brujha to me in his reactions and, of course, having celerity.  Sometimes it's hard to tell :)  .
He can still be Brujah, because everybody can edit those wikis. Maybe someone did who was just convinced he is Toreador? According to the game files he has Celerity and Thaumaturgy, so this doesn't decide it in one direction or the other.

Mercurio is LaCroix' ghoul but he is old fashion and has a code of honor.
Small correction here, Mercurio is ghoul to one of LaCroix's vampires, but not to LaCroix himself. A dialog line confirms this, also he would never be able to help you in the endgame otherwise.

Hm, celerity and thaumaturgy might even hint to an Assamite, although I really doubt that.
When I first saw him, he was Brujah for me. But I'm no longer certain. The fact tht he uses a gun hints to Toreador, but then Nines also uses guns. Too bad obfuscate is useless because of the zombies. Otherwise that could give a hint.

@Talyn, you think Jack avoids politics? Then why doesn't he leave any opportunity to preach against the camarilla out? Imo he's also the most passionate when it comes to advertising his point of view.
Strauss may be manipulative, but he is too blunt about it. The way he insists that any shit going down is caused by the anarchs makes me dismiss everything else he says as well. Just some worthless propaganda, better don't listen.

Why is that? Because he was supposed to have "TrueSight", but I disabled it. So if that was a replacement for Auspex, he might indeed be Toreador...

I thought, Vic used Presence at some points during the fight, that with Celerity was the reason, I thought him to be Torrie.

Talyn:the movies made out of the Anne Rice books are not that telling and Lestat turned out to be a lot different, when he tells the story from his POV.

It makes sense that Vick is a Torrie because of lines like these: "You talk of disease... what about the disease that you and I both carry, our flesh remade into nothing more than an abomination, feeding on our brothers and sisters like so many cattle? What god watched over me when that demon tore into my neck and made me into this monster you see before you?"
And Jezebel could be more a Ventrue than Toreador. First because of the Queen Jezebel and she view human life different than Vick.
Brother Kanker = Nosferatu (i know shocker)
Jezebel Locke   = Ventrue
Bishop  Vick      = Toreador
Jumbles            = No idea (we don´t know if he is a Vampire but it´s very likely. The unoffical patch he clearly is. Maybe Brujah?)

Jezebel Locke clearly uses Presence and Celerity, so I'm pretty sure, she is Toreador.

Are you sure that Jezebel uses Celerity? I can´t remember that she uses it.  Unlike Presence and her melee / range attacks.

I too wish she was sincere and she might be who knows. She is an attractive woman who supposedly is infatuated with our character. But according to Rosa there are only two npc's that are trustworthy. Mercurio (the man on the couch) and Beckett (the Lone Wolf). All the npc's from LaCroix to Jack seek to use you no matter how nice they appear to be. Also according to Bertram Tung there are no good guys when it comes to vamps and their politics. Beckett is the exception because he chooses to stay out of it. Mercurio is LaCroix' ghoul but he is old fashion and has a code of honor. He will help you even if it means he will grow old and die eventually. Jack avoids politics too, but he also likes to go around and stir shit up in Camarilla controlled states.
Great point there about Rosa. About Jack... well, he does side with Cain... so I wouldn't say he avoid politics

You are correct.  I remember seeing a lore video on the Toreador by Outstar, and remember her saying they are one of the creepiest clans apart of the Camarilla.  They do view torture as art.  I'm not into the Anne Rice type of vamps.  I've only seen two movies based on her books.  One was 'Interview with a Vampire', and the other I forgot it's name.  But I remember Tom Cruise' character Lestat was pretty macabre.  Although I do like the concept of a monster behind the pretty face.
Well, the antitribu ones at least do view torture as an art. It's important to remember that Isaac and VV do seem to show a moral code when it comes to their respective charges.

I'm pretty sure. I'll pay more attention by the next playthrough. I got very Toreador-like vibes from her though.

I'm quite certain she only uses presence. So judging by the disciplines she might be Ventrue.
But if I'm not mistaken, Ventrue plan their embraces very carefully so it's not likely that the childe turns out to be a complete nutcase and joins some doomsday cult. Toreador on the other hand have been known to embrace on a whim (see Isaak).

@Wesp5:  About what I said about Mercurio being LaCroix's ghoul.  I thought he was his ghoul because when he talks about vampires and sex.  He says something like "I talked to the main man himself."  So I assumed LaCroix was the main man.  Plus I always assumed LaCroix does not speak to humans because most likely he sees them as just cattle like Jack.

His Master is certainly close to LaCroix, but he also says "Went downtown to get my fix. When I went up to the top of the tower, I could hear LaCroix shouting from down the hall." I don't think any ghoul would talk this way about his Master.
And Jumbles is the black guy guarding the entrance to Bishop Vick's lair. I turned him into a vampire during the library quest, but I never thought about which clan he would be. He is killed in a cutscene before this matters anyway ;)!

You are correct.  I do remember now Mercurio saying that.  Well my mistake then.:)

As for Jumbles.  Now I remember who he is.  The guy who says "Are you enlightened?"
