As your sign, looks like you have an idea about vampires based in the trueblood sqhemes...

Looks like stupid for me that a thousand years old vampire will be interested (really interested) in sex or love...
Perhaps I'm very pragmatic...

Well, maybe before reaching the 1000th birthday, or deathday

For my part I wouldn't call that "pragmatic", I would call it "pessimistic".  lol  I guess it depends on how you look at things. Vampires are still very capable of love and even though they may not want genital sex unless their humanity is over 8 or they are a Thinblood (who can have genital sex galore and can even produce offspring with humans, half vampires aka Dhampires), they can still have and very much enjoy "vampire sex", a mutual exchange of blood.  Its a bit dangerous (risk of mutual blood bond) but doable and very enjoyable for vampires.  Drinking blood to a vampire is better than the greatest sex they ever had as a human being, and "The Kiss" is almost erotic in the extreme pleasure it bestows to whoever is being fed from, so imagine the pleasure of the Kiss AND the pleasure of drinking blood at the same time.  I can see some vampires becoming totally addicted to vampire sex, frankly.  The only vampiresI can think of off the top of my head that would be barred from "vampire sex" are the Giovanni because of their curse, which they inherited in bastardized form from the Lamia bloodline of the Cappadocian clan.  Their "Kiss" does not grant great pleasure, instead it causes agonizing pain.

I understand your vision, but mine is different, I can't be in the feet of a 1 thousand years old vampire (noone can) but in al WOD novels, the elders are interested in one thing , the jihad.
Yes, this is the true motivation, play an eternal game to fight the boredom...
Even in bloodlines, cabbie - caine, enjoy acting as a viewer of the events.

As you said "humanity over 8 will make them interested in love", I agree, but if you don't count Saulot, any thousand year vampire have more that 5...

For those, fight for power is the motivation, and fight vs the boredom.

Then I guess ultimately its a good thing our characters in the Bloodlines games aren't 1000 years old but rather are fledglings.

"Babe I'm worried for our childe. He is bisexual with high humanity...."
"It's a phase, darling, don't worry: before you know he'll be an asexual bloodthirsty monster. You fancy a stillborn drink?"

Exactly! in bloodlines E is worried about lily for example... is OK for him, because is a fledgling. But older ones motivations are very different...
Mostly are worried about power (gain, retain, advoid destruction...) almost every vampire in game.
Exceptions are Caine, Jack, Pisha and Beckett, their motivation is fight the boredom, (looking for knowledge or watching plots...)

Do you think Thinbloods will ever get that way though? They don't need high humanity to be able to f*ck or love after all.

I don't think this is because they have high humanity, is because they're too young, too many links with the kine already...
That's why I think is not possible that an elder acts this way...

There are no elder Thinbloods yet, but Thinbloods are such a unique type of Kindred.  I don't know that they will age the same way that fullblooded vampires do.

A small offtopic: once I've read a comic book where the protagonist met time travelling cops. In the middle of this adventure, when he replied he isn't interested on a quick fuck with the woman of the group (because he's gay) because of their pansex-only culture, being soo far in the future, they did not even know the meaning of this concept or any of these. When he explained what that means he had then to explain also the cultural context of his time because they where already labelling him as a bigot

Is an elder an old vampire ? Or just a vampire from one of the early generations ?

"Elder" isn't a generational term, its a "how long you have lived" term.  Antediluvians ARE elders of course, but an elder is any vampire that has been alive for 300 or more years.
