About the restored music
« on: August 20, 2019, 06:16:07 AM »
I was thinking about the restored songs and one thing occurred to me.

I truly believe "Edward's Theme" was composed for the Santa Monica Diner. Not only the mood of the song but mostly because for the strong ties to Lily's quest, or most importantly of E.

E, Edward, anyone else thinks it can be true? And have you any thoughts about the music? An an example, for me Come Around (not Come Alive by Daniel Ash, eh) is one of the greatest songs of this game. And its placement on the Library level adds to the epicness of the Unofficial Patch and the goals it achieved.

Edward is also the name of the male ghost which suggests the Ocean House as a location for the song.
Anyway, E's full name is never mentioned and I'm not sure an Aussie would be called Edward.

Exactly, Rik Schaffer wrote as much. This is why I restored it to the outside of the hotel once you leave...

I think he wrote it in one of his emails when he gave me the songs.

It would be pretty great if the thinbloods from the first game also came back :D !
