recently, a lot of new threads about the same things, or asking things that were already answered have been created.
So here's a few basic rules for eveybody, so we can use the forum at it's best.

 1/ check where you're posting.
NO SPOILERS in the general discussion forum, those belongs in the game in progresse forum.
Bug reports in bug reports, technical support in technical support
2/ READ the already created threads before creating a new one.
We don't need a oodleplex of threads about the Leopold crash for instance.
 When in doubt:
 Bug Report Thread
 Issues/Solutions Thread
 Dan_Upright's Patch Thread

Check those thread in priority before posting anything about Tech Support or Bugs
Feel free to add to them too.

  •                 Bravo,

It will be nice to see all posts in the right place and not repeated over an over again.

  •                 Creating a Sticky thread in sections with a general collection of common questions could help cut down on it as well...like a general FAQ.

  •                 Eh, it's kind of tiring to look at all the threads that were covered at dilapidation.

  •                 The United States Health and Human Services Department presents:

     Posting and You

A classic that all first page stickies should have! I've been looking for this link forever and finally found it!

Good god! I have seen that stupid vid about a hundred times! Why is it everytime some mod starts a thread with this topic some one posts a link to that damn vid?!

I'm telling you it was funny the first time but please!
(and before you say something like "just because you've seen it doesn't mean others have" there are links to it on almost every forum on this site!)

BTW: I don't like the sticky idea, PCGamers forum did that with HL2 because people where apprently getting a bit pissed off with people posting HL2 stuff all over the place so the put up some stickies for it and now you can only post in those stickies about certain things and my questions tend to get lost in a sea of posts! (so i get scared and i'm all alone and i wanna go home, so i don't post there much anymore!)

     Cheers

There are exactly three lines o written text in my previous post. I point you to the last line of that post, which you obviously couldn't be bothered with reading:

"Posting and You" is a great way to educate all the 8 year olds.

Now, if only we could make the use of Leettalk punishable by death...

I just finished moving about 20 topics.  Most of them were moved out of the Bloodlines General Discussion into either WoD General Discussion or Off Topic.  Happy posting.

I am going to put this here for fear of retaliation.  I have a question actually about the forums.  Anyone having issues with entering the forums??  there have been a couple of times where i would attemt to enter the first page of this or the active games thread and it would take forever to see page one.  does that make sense??  just something that i wanted to throw out there.  also, i posted this ONLY one other place--how can i subscribe to a thread that i post in??  i have been thru every single one and after a while it gets confusing and i forget which thread i was on.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not.  How big is your bandwidth and how many programs are you trying to run at one time?

Uh, if you're a member of Planetvampire forums (or forumplanet/gamespy in general) you can post in any thread unless it says "closed", which, outside of the old threads in the archives, I don't believe we have any topics closed off.  Except for the stories in the Interactive Storyboard.
