Help in Grout's Mansion

Okay, the rest of you might find this to be a stupid question, but I'm at my wit's end.

I'm stuck trying to complete Grout's mansion. First off, I've never liked this mission and unmodded, I usually just no clip through it to get it done as soon as possible. I tried doing that with this mod too, but once I got to the room with Grout's wife in the glass, it wouldn't let me interact with her to unlock the door. At this point, I was like "Okay maybe noclipping messed something up?" so I went back to my last save (which was entering the mansion) and tried doing it without noclipping through. when I got up to the wife again though, I had the same problem :/

Okay, so how can I get through this part? Any help is appreciated!

Do you see the gramophone? Press E on that.
