I have downloaded the 1.1 version and if works fine on an AMD Athlon64 with Windows 7 32bit. For all those who have crashes right after starting a new game, please post your setup here!

I'm trying to run the game on my laptop Intel Core i3-2330M 2.20 GHz with Windows 7 64bit.

I installed the mod over a clean install of the game (I'm using the VNGCLONE cracked version right now, shame on me), after the mod installation I had to copy the vampire.exe and the vampire.dll files in the main folder also. I ran the game as administrator. I got to the main menu, after clicking new game I got the loading screen for a short time then had a crash.

I have the same problem. Need to start as admin and when I want to start a new game I get the loading screen and then the game crashes.

Of course I had the UP installed when I tested it. Maybe using the fixed exe of the latest UP helps?

Thanks for the mod guys, I've been looking forward to the release for awhile. I've just started playing, and so far it seems to be working pretty well. The new loader correctly set my resolution and FOV.

Is the mod supposed to include a no-CD crack, because it keeps asking for a CD? Can I just copy the exe from the Unofficial Patch? Is there some reason you guys didn't use the same no-CD as the Unofficial? Legitimate original CDs don't even work anymore since recent Windows updates broke Securom protection.

Here are a few issues I've found so far:

I've tried that (the .exe from UP 9.4 right?), but it's still no good.

I sincerely hope that is not so ... otherwise it would be more or less the same story of another MOD ... wonderful game mechanics  but almost nothing in the atmosphere.

I just installed it and got a ctd when selecting a new game, something a couple others on moddb and a friend on Steam experienced. The symptoms aren't the same for everyone, but I'm kinda wondering if it's possible the upload was corrupted?

Also getting a CTD on clicking "New Game" It manages to get to the loading screen for maybe 3-5 seconds, and then closes. Not sure my specs and such are relevant, but here they are anyway.

CPU: FX 4300 Quad-Core
GPU: GeForce GT 620 1GB
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 10, running the game as Admin and in XP SP2 Compatability Mode

I'm currently downloading the Antitribu mod again, and will attempt a clean re-install shortly. It's fortunate I had the forethought to create a backup of my VTMB folder before installing the mod. I did download a version of the UP, to try the proposed EXE fix, but for some reason it didn't install one when i installed it to a desktop folder.

I also tried running a clean install of the game before Antitribu installation, just to ensure it ran correctly, and it did. I was able to successfully create my Tremere, and got through the initial tutorial quest without any trouble.

I don't know if I installed the patch correctly (I assume yes... because I can see male models for Nagaraja e OCT). Strange enough, my game seems to work normally.

On Vanilla VTMB, yeah. My point was, the game works fine UNTIL I install this 1.1 version of Antitribu, which crashes on a New Game. Default VTMB, however, I made it to the end of Santa Monica.

I'm attaching my most recent crash log to this post. Hope it helps someone figure this out.

Uhm... ok, sorry for my misunderstanding. However, I'm still curios: Now do NPCs of Antitribu recognize the character's clan (through dialogs, of course)? Or they still speak as with a Vanilla PC?

Most of the dialogue is the same. For example I've been playing a Tzimisce, and most of the unique conversation options I've gotten are the Toreador ones (because they replaced Toreador with Tzimisce). There seem to be a small number of dialogue options for the new clans though. I was able to use Vicissitude in conversation once. I also threatened to cut off Knox's hands (I think that's new?).

Uhmmm... ok, thanks for your answer. For the Tzimisce... i don't know if that dialog is of the 1.1 patch, i don't played with that clan, not even with the old AT patches.

To the people that have the crashes, please install the UP 9.4 on top of the Antitribu Mod. This should not mess up any of the two as they run out of their subfolders, but may point to problems with the game mod loader files if the crashes don't happen afterwards.

I did a fresh install of Bloodlines, then installed both the 9.4 patch and ATM 1.1 as admin. Unofficial patch install works, ATM 1.1 still crashes to desktop when starting a new game.

Hm... if this can help you, I did NOT install the VTMB UP 9.4, because I knew AT is already updated with the UP, although not to the last. In the past i had several problems with ALL the mods... Maybe you can copy the dlls (cl_dlls/client.dll and dlls/vampire.dlls) from the 9.4. This works, on my PC, first on another MOD (FN), then even with AT 1.0.10... and now with the 1.1 (or so I think, given that I can play). This evening i just installed the 1.1 on the top of the 1.0.10, without to change any file.

If anyone wonders if the file on Moddb is somehow corrupted, use this link:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw-DhXfU53YvVVliVENKUEpWVGs/view
You'll have to log in with Google, but this version definitely works fine. I suspect the GameModLoader is the culprit here, so I hope everyone wouldn't mind if for some reason we had to switch back to manual installs.

Hey man, that actually worked, so thanks for the tip. I copied these dlls from the UP and it didn't crash after selecting new game! (I haven't gotten through the character creation yet though, but I guess it should be okay.)

I really like the two new PC models. :)

For those who have crashes on mod startup or new game, please, copy from latest Unofficial Patch the Vampire.exe file to game's root directory, and "cl_dlls" & "dlls" dirs from Unofficial_Patch/ to Antitribu_Mod directory. It's definitely must help. I can't repeat error myself, but I'll check ATM's binaries for issues, and then tell what calls the problem.

I'm completely lost. On the Elizabeth Dane there's a locked key card safe in the records room that you have to open to finish the quest, but I can't find the key for it anywhere. Does anyone know where it is?

Also, I forgot to mention, you may not want to install this over a single Bloodlines directory, I know it sucks, but make a copy of your bloodlines directory, a clean copy, and install 1.1.

As nice as it would have been to play this today, none of the proposed solutions are working. Considering I've wasted the better part of 3 hours trying to fix it, I'm done trying for now.
If the problems are indeed because of the Mod Loader, perhaps next time the Devs will take the opinions of the users into consideration. I seem to recall another member of the forum suggesting a standard release, who was swiftly ignored.

No need to have a several mod versions incompatible each other since it cause confusion among the users and will leads additional questions.
Solving loader issue is just question of a couple days, so no reasons to do hasty decisions!

1.09 worked splendidly with the old format, so I really don't see why the install method was changed. Why fix what isn't broken?

In any event, I'll gladly give this a try once the issues are fixed.

I managd to get it to work...

So basically i did this

step1: install a clean version of vampire the masquerade bloodlines
step2:install 1.2 official patch
step3: Install 9.4 unofficial patch
step4: install all the previous versions of antitribu 1.0 to 1.11 all in that order.
step5: Then i copied the vampire.dll and vampire.dll as instructed by runza

So far no problems....

As a side note, im impressed with the new necromancy :D

The Unofficial patch now uses a cracked exe. The fix that FleshArtist will be uploading to moddb shortly will also have a cracked exe.

It worked for me too.

I'm using Windows 7 64bits

1.- I installed the game in a new folder. Tried to run it, but crashed even before reaching the "New Game" stage.
2.- I installed Antitribu 1.1, ran it, but crashed when I tried to start a New Game.
3.- I installed UP 9.4, ran the game, it was patched vanilla version, but ran fine.
4.- I copied the mentioned dlls to the mod folder, ran the game, and it worked!

I noticed now I can play both the patched vanilla and antitribu versions, depending on which link I click, that's nice.

Also, it seems the dominate dialogs got fixed

Congratulations, you've broke both game and mod ;) Versions 1.0x and 1.1x are incompatible each other because uses different installation methods.

Signothorn,
The U.Patch does not use cracked Exe - it's just generic exe for all Source Engine games that doesn't contains nothing but clean engine launch code. Crack is when we're removing or break something in existing files, and UP just uses files that nothing to crack in - they are free from any protections by default. My hotfix for ATM uses these files too.

For those who have the original game crashing after installing Antitribu with latest hotfix:
Just just replace cl_dlls and dlls folders in Vampire/ directory with ones from Antitribu_Mod directory. This also solves problems for all other minor mods.

Good to know, I misunderstood. I was wondering why the exe you sent in PM's was a larger file size than the one installed in the UP. Makes sense now.

I just made new .exe based on clean Source engine's sources, and it more friendly to the new OSes and a little better in memory control. The one included in UP was from HL2beta or other early Source builds.

Maybe you even right, I don't remember exactly, where it was gotten from, but Source engine games succesfully launch from it, and it hasn't any protection or game-related trails...

Hi all,

Instead I have a different problem. I run the installer in my vampire folder and all the antitribu files seams perfectly insalled. However anytime I try to launch the new version an error box pops up: Failed to find steam.

The vanilla game launched from steam works as usual. My steam folder is in another disk not C:/ so maybe the problem is there.

Any idea?

Now every warrens 2 and 3 show black screen. Warrens 1 safe is ok but i don't want to play again. Fuck this.

I'm having a issue whit my steam version of the game.
Every time i start the game from steam, then it brings me to the vanilla game.
And if i start it from the desktop icon or from the directory then it says unable to find steam.
So does any one have an idea i can try?

Windows 7 64x
Intel core I7-2670QM
Radeon HD6490M

Sorry to all i didn't know about the hot fix, issue seems fixed right now!

The Patty quest is broken if you send her to san Diego. (The dialog sets the quest to state 5 which no longer exists.) Usually I kill her myself, whining bitch. But the xp table states 4xp for sending her off and only 1 for "dealing" with her, so I swallowed my loathing and... quest broken.

Edit: The Patty dialog refers to more queststates tha don't exist in quests_downtown.

On another note, my Lasombra got the Nosferatu text for sending Milligan to Pisha. "...this is a mask, boo." Not good.

Strangely, can't use the raw flesh as a Nagasdghryarg. Could use it before the new bug fix, but now...

Also, Romero's quest (the cemetery keeper in Hollywood) become "broken" if you talk to him after encountering the manbo-jambo necromancer (at the entrance of the crypt in the cemetery): you keep still, not able to move or do anything and the timer is up and running.

In Chinatown, the sewer map don't pin-point your location, and the access G doesn't have a plaque.

The code for the cave door in Leopold's Society (on the computer in the fortress) does not appear (just "Avaliable Comands", listing "code" - nothing more, doesn't do anything).

The first computer and answering machine on the library (after the hotel) cannot be used. They glow, but...

PS: How do I embrace? In theory, the char has permition to do so, but... Is itpossible? If no, will it be implemented?

You can embrace. After the Giovanni quest the prince grants you the priviledge of sireing. You can then embrace either Heather or Yukie in your haven. Although keep in mind that with the Lasombra male pc the embrace is really broken; whichever you embrace gets serpentis as a fourth discipline, changes it's model to the brujah female and you are not able to unpossess her.

Hey guys,

So I asked Lenuska on Moddb about the next version of the mod, or what she's planning for it. Unfortunately it seems that she has a burnout again, for she has told me that she got exhausted and therefore not planning on the next version anytime soon. Bad news, but at least we could calm down from the potential hype.

some quick questions:
CAN u embrace? HOW? its said u CAN get other disciplines, but CAN YOU REALLY, &, of course, HOW, & where do/will they show up, do u access them the same way/place?

heres a little bug:
a weird thing happens with one of the options u get if u use the console to get the Animus Constupro(the cup that allows u to make slaves   of mortals & immortals alike) & use it on someone. i'm guessing itll happen if u "find" it too, but i dont know for sure. i got it via the  console & used it on Lilly while she was still trapped in
the blood bank. when i talk to her i get the option to "pose" her. once i do its as if i have "picked her up"(like
u do with a box or something), but i cant let her go unless im able to leave via a transition  point(i.e. get to a
place where it triggers a load screen). ALSO, once i "pick her up" on the top of the screen, in green letters, it
keeps flashing: "NEW DISCIPLINE GAINED", but it never says WHAT that discipline IS & it doesnt show up
anywhere(not even in the "CONSOLE window").  is there a way to make it/them "show up" on the char screen, or is it possible that all this is happening cuz i did something wrong?

i used to play this game the old-fashioned way via pen(really PENCIL cuz u ALWAYS did a ton of erasing) & paper, & that was one of the reasons i LOVED VtM-Redemption, cuz u COULD get cross-clan disciplines just like the "pen & paper" version. the fact that THAT was NOT a part of Bloodlines was, to me, a HUGE step back. i was totally psyched when i read that this mod kinda brought back the spirit of the "pen n paper" version by re-instating it. so, please, any & all feedback/responses as to a way to fix this(my starting questions)would be
appreciated as well as any one else that might have had the same problem with the "pose" issue/bug due to the Animus Constupro cluing me in on how they fixed things &/or found(& accessed)those "new disciplines" mentioned. thx all!!!

-VtM-Bloodlines 2!!!-

Hi,

I've searched the replies and patch details but didn't find any mentions of the healing bug that I have. I've posted about this last year (on the old forums) and I am hoping that it is patched in.

BUG Details:

When using blood buff or blood heal I seem to have extremely fast healing rate. I am talking about from nearly dead to full health in a few seconds. This seemed to happen when you save while they are activated, and this bug remain activated for the entire game. Tothmetres (from the old forum) said that they didn't think that its an antitribu bug, its a bloodlines bug so I don't know if there can be a fix. Since it is not mentioned in the details I am posting here, maybe the dev knows if they ever had a chance to fix it.

Thank you so much for this mod btw, can't wait to play it again.

BUG REPORT

Bug in the Thinned Blood quest: when you search for Lily in the Blood Bank, you can obtain the freezer's code in three way:
- The first, persuading Phil to give you the code;
- Second, you can kill Phil and take his note with the code;
- Third, you can hack the computer and found out the code.

At the moment, only with one of these methods you can gain XP points. As far i remember all of these actions give XPs in the Vanilla game.

Other minor bugs:

- In the end of the Tutorial, the description say "you have earned two experience points", instead you gain three.
- Dominate options in dialogs don't have any visual effect.
- Outside the Ocean House, when you have the key card for the container and open the door, the game shows the wrong (red) icon as if you had not the key.

I hate to tell everyone, but my old computer biffed it earlier this month and thus I can't do patching work on Antitribu, I should have announced this earlier, but I assumed most problems had been taken care of. I will likely get a new computer which I can call my own later this month or the next.

Psycho-A might still be able to do some patching work, if he's around.

I found some little bugs in the Tutorial, with a Setite character:

- After being wounded by Sabbat's thugs, there isn't the piece of the dialogue when Jack "finds out" the bum down the stairs, nor animation of Jack who sniffs the air. The dialogue shows only a "...." and the answer of a Malkavian character ("Does blood has vintage and bouquet?").

- When you learn to use the third Discipline (Serpentis), the description gives me instructions for level two... but my character has only level one.

is there any way to turn the feeding back to the vanilla speeds cause this super slow feeding causes several problems, not to mention getting caught in an ally cause you suck on one guy... and then another decides he wants to take a leak too... and walks in on you... Now normally i would just ask him to join in but unfortunately humans are like little girls sometimes... sigh...
as another thing for the feeding, it seems that i dont get health nor blood points untill i have drained half of the guys blood pool... so im pretty much not even sure what am i doing half of the time feeding... am i actually drinking the blood or actually setting up a refinery at his neck -_-
im sure ill find more problems cause it seems like this game had alot of them as vanilla... and so far only mod i have seen without those problems is the full 9.4 unoffical patch...
other than that it seems nice to finally have a bit more different game even tho it looks the same :)
so keep up the good job... i hope i can soon have my own little fledgling... and maybe some male ghouls for once... is it also possible to make some of the prostitudes male, and to have a possibility to hit on some npc that just walk around... you know... just to seduce em a bit and then just suck them behind the corner... :P

Edit:
Well, im kinda new to this mod, but so far... i had more dissapointment that fun... first of all i thouht that just the few first bosses were a bit different... nothin else... but as it seems my Vampire has been nerfed to the point where he is in fact WEAKER than a freakin MORTAL! I do see that i get some more xp than the usual but even ordinary humans can take more bullets than i can... and i am a VAMPIRE... so finally i turned on god mode cause i was just bored of gettin killed by just another miniboss jumpin out of no where... just to play through the storyline... and what is funny... i slash away at humans... who appear to have over 150 hp... while i have like what... 80... 100...
Okay okay... so you turned it into some serious hardcore hard mode game... okay... ill just play through it with god mode just for the experiance... BUT WHY DA FU did you put goddamn aliens into this game... where da FU** do vampires and aliens mix??? seriously... this is Vampire the masquarade bloodlines NOT alien ressurection or some other ellen ripley s**t...
I am just really really dissapointed how the fun has been removed from one of my favorite games of all time... most of the quests have serious issues... for once the tv dissapeared and i have no idea where to find him, no clues... nothin... gettin werewolf blood... cant get it at the chantry, cant get it in hospital... no further leads...
i guess ill continue playin tomorrow and see how frustrating it can get and if it will get good at some point too to balance out this negative :(

I am really sorry for this kind of feedback... im usually supportive or keep my mouth shut... but this just... it could be soo good... but you tried to make it look different from the original and you just overdid it... the aliens, the player nerfing, the boss powers and boost... just depressing...

okay... i give up... i hope that at some point you will release 2 mods of same type  but one for hardcore gamers who want to get killed around every corner and the other for the ones who preferred the easier bosses and a powerful vampire player... untill then... i find it rather frustrating to play rather than "fun"...

i do appreciate the work and effort that has been put into this tho...

Greetings! I would just like to point out a rather amusing bug I experienced yesterday while playing the Nagaraja class. I was in the tutorial area, and was messing with the abilities. I got to playing with level 2 Necromancy on said Nagaraja, and the little screaming ghosty was so scared that she busted open the door leading into the next area (where you have to sneak around, and eventually kill the 'really' green vampire). Needless to say, I explored this development, and talked to the second Jack inside. When I went to progress the right way through the tutorial, everything was wonky, and couldn't progress past acquiring the lockpick. I thought it funny. The bugs in this game are hilarious :3
Title: The final nights are dark and full of glitches.
Post by: Baconbitz on March 22, 2016, 04:22:29 AM
Hey, first time poster, but a long time player of VtMB. I've been following this game since WESP's 4.1 patch. I loved the idea of Antitribu because Lasombra was my absolute favorite clan from when I used to play the PnP game and I really wanted to tear the big bads apart with obtenebration in the game  :vampwink: . So here is my issue.

I spent the better part of a week downloading and testing Antitribu 1.1. This never really bugs me because I understand that this game is a dinosaur when your talking about tech lifespans. You are gonna have to put in some elbow grease to get it to work regardless of how well any unofficial patch. Anyway, So I finally got it working, and it got to the point where I kept a clean working install in the wings in case I had to start from scratch.

SO, When I'm playing through I can complete santa monica fine, but I can't enter Lacroixs tower. Everytime I do the loading bar freezes a inch and a half into filling up. I Tried restarting the save, no luck. Tried using a different character class and playing back through, No luck. Tried reinstalling EVERYTHING, no luck. I even tried no clipping through the Nosferatu enterance in the sewers a couple of times, still no luck. Can ANYONE please help? I really want to see the new content, but outside of falling back to before the 1.1 patch I dont know what to do.

@baconbitz,

Usually glitches like these are caused by objects you really shouldn't be having, and it's usually something like the hotkey mask, shoulder pads, definitely the shield and sometimes occult items, so hand those off to a companion if possible, dominate a hooker or get Knox as a companion and have him/her follow you to Downtown.

Thanks for the quick reply! I caught something about your rig being fried in one of the forums so I didn't think you were gonna be able to reply for a while ^,^ Anyway, So I tried three more times, first without the shoulderpads, then I dumped my whole inventory just in case it was a console command that did it because I had skipped the tutorial and the pawnshop guy didn't have lockpicks so I consoled for them, and on the final try I left downtown all together and went all the way back to my haven before heading back to the Tower. All the times the game locked up, though the progress bar added about a half inch to its average size before freezing.

SO Imma try running through with a different clan real fast and see if its tied to the lasombra. If it is I have no clue what to do next, and if it freezes on that too, then Ill try a clean install and see if it persists. I dont think its the install though simply because I spent so long trying to install it that I think I understand the process pretty well.

Anyway I'll keep you guys updated in case someone else comes across the same glitch, and if you think of anything else that might help I would love to hear it. Thanks again Flesh Artist!

Title: Re: Antitribu Mod 1.1 is out!

There are a few new quests, but none is about joining Sabbat yet. There are also a few quests from CQM imported, if what I saw in the files is correct. I never played Antitribu, so I can't tell you much about the few new quests.

Sabbat main quest is on the work, but there are still issues to be fix in 1.1 version, which limit what we can implement for now. (in short, because we would have to redo the work that was done in 1.1 to 1.1.5 version.)
Sabbat content is for version 1.2, and that will take a while yet before it's release.

About the lack of new content in general, if you look within the mod's files, you will see that Antitribu is a monster of work already. I personally, didn't fully realize how much work was made to create new disciplines until recently, for example.
If this kind of thing was necessary is up to taste, but noboby that already modded a game on his/her free time can say that the years Lenuska and Mcv putted in this mod was a waste, especially when you know that modding possibilities were a less lot "friendly" back when this mod was started.

You can also see remnants of the work that was made to implement a sabbat quest line, the new stuffs aren't in the released mod files however.

I work on some technical stuffs for the sabbat quest line only, I don't do the bugs fixing, neither do I write scenario and dialogs. FleshArtist gave me some estimation on 1.1.5 release, but I don't want to speak for him.
I made a new map for the mod and re-enacted the sabbat main quest, so to speak. Right now, I am preparing some code to continue it based on what he told me about what happen next.
Now that I know how to make custom py files, I will move all the python for it in a new file, much easier for future implantation.

That's what I do, which is not too demanding at the moment, since I don't want to test too many things on 1.1 version, knowing I will have to re-test them in the next version.
Meanwhile, I move my own project.
Based on FleshArtist estimations of the next release, I should have enough time to keep implementing stuffs in Antitribu by then, unless someone else continue it...
I am only in contact with Flesh and he doesn't stop by very often, as you noticed. I hope he will have more time when the new version is out.

It's the problem with team work, hard to coordinate, and people are rarely available at the same time...

I must have miswrite, sorry about that. There are new non-sabbat quests available which are not from CQM or any other mods, I just don't know what they are and how many, exactly.

The quests from CQM are the prostitute being mugged in downtown, and the robbing at the red spot. Others were not imported, probably because of the reasons you said.

You cannot uncompress it with Win7/10 internal "Extract all". Use 7zip, winrar or what preferred 3rd party you want to extract the files and it will work.

Windows 10: I cannot get this to work and I'm not using steam.

Iinstalled fresh copy of gogg.
Run vtmb_atm_11.exe with admin privs.
Copied the dlls from VTMBup97.exe
Modified shortcut to have admin privs.
New game still crashes.

I remember having some problems installing CE, but managed to work that one out.

Okey, got it working:

You must copy from the uncompressed VTMBup97.exe (UP):
1) Vampire.exe and to vTMB root directory.
2) Copy and replace also from UP97 cl_dlls and dlls to Antribu_Mod

I'm curious if it is possible to take the Animalism discipline from the Antitribu Mod and put it in a basic version of Bloodlines in a way it will work. I mean to get Gangrell or Nossie summoning real white wolves which run around the battlefield as they do on Tsimitsce's beconing.
And when I'm on it, shifting whole Viscitude (alongside with Xeno-making) and well put it in the Tremere arsenal. For example instead of Auspex or Thaumaturgy. Also the Domination was lovely, but I'm not sure how much of it is thanks to the Compantion mode included there, the change-skin thing and the way a mesmerised NPC follows me to the dark alley (meals were never easier).

I think that disciplines are "hardcoded", you can overwrite them, but the number of them can't be changed. You can change animalism powers, but you cant add powers to the" tremere arsenal" if you dont remove others...

There is a certain truth to this in fact its all true BUT there is a workaround of sorts, one that Antribu already uses, in fact they are the only to do so to my knowledge. Numina can be used as Disciplines though they can't be on the character sheet, Antitribu gets round this in two ways: making Blood Buff and Blood Heal into Numina allowing them to use their discipline slots, for other Numina-Disciplines they use a chat based menu system.

Tricky and clever. But what exactly Numina is?
Hunter powers intended for the multiplayer mode, the multiplayer mode was never made but Numina remains. The powers Bach has in game are Numina. Numina can't appear on a vampire character sheet.
One of the Numina is Divine Vision which is just Auspex but vampires appear as red instead of purple and the light coming from the player's head is white instead of red and while the screen goes kind of red with Auspex, it goes kind of blue with Divine Vision.
I actually made a video comparing the effects of Vanilla Auspex, Divine Vision, Final Nights mod Auspex and Obeah (Final Nights mod).

Furthermore, you cannot change the discipline "type".
There are passive disciplines, such as Auspex or Potence.
They only have one ability usable. The Antitribu mod got around this requirement by using a dialogue system to switch level abilities, much the same way a protean mod that let's you pick an individual transformation instead of forcing a single one on you would work.

A targeted discipline like Thaumaturgy or Dementation, on the other hand, already has individual abilities selectable.
Quite surprisingly, Bloodbuff and Bloodheal are in fact targeted disciplines, as evidenced by their usage in Antitribu.

So, what changed since 2015? Are the Sabbat and Giovanni questlines released? Was there any info from Lenuska? Or is V 1.1 the only change after the fall of ravafxs Antitribu forums?

Short answer is...  no.

Nothing new in the antitribu....

Does it mean that the mod development is dead? The Sabbat questline was in pre-alpha(at least, there were videos and screens) in 2014-2k15, so, I doubt that it takes them 3-4+ years to finish it.

Nobody knows. Lenuska sometimes has a modding burnout and this might again be the case...

I loved how ambitious the Antitribu Mod was but they tried to do too much too quickly. They added more boss fights because they were easiest to implement but Bloodlines had too many boss fights particularly at the end. Adding new bosses isn't bad but they need to be added along with more areas, more quests etc.

Unless Mv returns which is unlikely, we will know nothing about Lenusk@'s status nor will she update the mod on Moddb at all. In the end, I think what she wanted in reality was for all of the activity Antitribu was rife with to die down to allow her to focus on other matters. Mv went out of his way to pump up the mod, then left Lenusk@ and I with it after running off elsewhere. I was busy with lots of other things and Lenusk@ was tired of mod celebrity status. The day to day work of maintaining Moddb's most popular mods can get tiring, and for a long time, Antitribu was in the top 5 there.

Maybe some day in the future she will get in touch with Wesp and through him let the community know about updates on the mod. I look forward to it.

So how is the current iteration of Antitribu? I remember playing it in v1.0, and not particularly caring for it, but is it much improved in 1.1?

The title says it all. The long awaited update has been released, hopefully fixing most of the bugs of the original release. Get it from the ModDB: http://www.moddb.com/mods/bloodlines-antitribu/downloads/antitribu-11 (http://www.moddb.com/mods/bloodlines-antitribu/downloads/antitribu-11)

Changelog:
---------------
- fixed almost all bugs.
- remade Necromancy and Animalism.
- improved Ocean House, Dane and Malkavian Mansion maps.
- included new Malkavian Maze map, thanks Wesp5 and EntenSchreck.
- improved jumping puzzle outside of the Malkavian Mansion.
- added alternate ways without jumping at Malkavian Mansion and LA library.
- improved and fixed the Gargoyle quest.
- added male pc models for old clan Tzimisce and clan Nagaraja.
- improved many early models and textures.
- added many models, textures and sounds.
- improved and fixed particles.
- improved balance.
- included new music.
- included extra materials.

EDIT: keep in mind that while it adds tons of new stuff it's still in a demo state and the creator now is taking a break on modding

And it's compatible with mod loader, so I can just run the installer and make a desktop shortcut without pooching my other bloodlines mod installs?

Actually Antitribu had a little issue when starting a new game and the only fix had to replace files used by the mod loader, which in turn where incompatible with other mods. My suggestion is to make a backup of these files and switch back and forth when you need antitribu or another mod. Or making a copy of the game and use it for antitribu (takes more space but it's easier to handle). We hope a solution can be found when development will restart but for now that's what we have

That's new to me! Can you inform Psycho-A about this, as he made the Game Mod Loader version of the ATM in the first place.

I may have misunderstood about this fix being incompatible, I was going by memory and not direct experience

A window opens.Choose your spell.Press the right mouse button to use the spell.

I hope that's the answer you're looking for, otherwise I couldn't answer you since I haven't played as an OCT....

It is a shame that Lenuska has decided to abandon the Antitribu Mod, or at least that is how I see it. There have been no news since 2016, if I am wrong, please correct me.

There haven't been either news of her officially abandoning the project (or from her at all). We can only wait to see whenever she'll do an actual announcement....

True.

But if I remember correctly, it was mostly FleshArtist who took the time and the effort to release news on the  Antitribu Mod.
But it has been 2 years already, and not a single new information came from her, which then forces me to assume that she has more or less abandoned Antitribu Mod project.

Does a Russian VTMB forum exist? If it does, perhaps she is active there. Antitribu Mod had and still has great potential, but it needs work.

I played through game as a Tzimisce, Setite and Samedi. I really enjoyed how their disciplines were shown in the game, great work there.
Now I am playing Nagaraja, and what a disappointment.

Gift for all of you: Antitribu 1.2 is in work, release date is unknown (not soon):
- New side quests (no new main Sabbat plot yet).
- Some new discipline lines in dialogues.
- New sounds.
I asked her recently about it and she said so. She is not active on Russian VTMB fan sites. You can post your ideas here.

Are there any mod conflicts using this mod?  I just have skins for NPC and PC, and of course the unofficial patch, but didn't know if this had any issues with the patch?
Title: Re: Antitribu Mod 1.1 is out!

Antitribu has already the patch (ok, a slightly old version, but still do not mix them together)
Regarding smaller mods, mostly won't make issues

Quick install guide: install the game, install an unofficial patch or a major mod, install mini mods inside the major mod folder. Do not ever copy the content of a major mod into another (like a newer UP into a major mod or viceversa), 99,9999% it won't work.

But if you only want to keep different major mods installed at the same time and keep them separated then there's no problem if they're mod loader compatible (that is when they're stored in different folders inside the game directory and to play one you use a dedicated link)

So since I already have installed the latest unofficial patch and only use other skin modes (model/materials) for NPC's then it seems I've done the first bit of your Quick install guide, correct?  So I should be able to just install the Antitribu mod?  Also if it doesn't work, is there a way to uninstall it if doesn't work?  Or will I have to re-install the entire game again from scratch?

I want to try it out as I'm nearing the end of my current game which I'll finish first of course before installing...

Yes, you can install it now, both mods will use separate subfolders.

Anyway keep on hand your CDs/steam account and your mods in case accidentally something happens (like installing a reskin mod you accidentally overwrite a file, a moment of distraction happen to everybody....)

Yeah I have both the original CD and the Steam (since I bought the Steam version to quickly move the game from SSD to my other drive and back when needed).  Will be looking forward to checking it out then after my current game is wrapped up...

Ok, I've installed it and got the new VTM Bloodlines Antiribu Mod shortcut.  It is listed as "Run as Admin".  I've also checked to make sure it's it installed in the correct location and I do see the Antitribu folder there which is good.

The issue is, when I start the game, it shows a quick "loading...." screen and then it goes away and just back to the desktop.  No errors or anything.

Didn't see anything in the txt doc that came with it.

As mentioned earlier, I only had the Unofficial Patch installed (newest one) and a few Armor replacements and models for a few Clans and that's it.  The Unofficial Patch loader is still working fine, but nothing with the Antitribu one.

Searched for "Crash" in this forum and looked at other peoples posts about the same (or other types) of crashes, but still haven't found a solution.  Someone else had the same issue, but there was no followup to their post at all...

Ok finally found the solution as was mentioned in this thread a few pages back:  Just needed to copy the "cl_dlls" & "dlls" dirs from the Unofficial_Patch to the Antitribu_Mod directory.

Problem solved, but might want to mention that on the start page in the first post of this tread so people don't have to weed through all the posts to find the answer...
