As nice as it would have been to play this today, none of the proposed solutions are working. Considering I've wasted the better part of 3 hours trying to fix it, I'm done trying for now.
If the problems are indeed because of the Mod Loader, perhaps next time the Devs will take the opinions of the users into consideration. I seem to recall another member of the forum suggesting a standard release, who was swiftly ignored.

No need to have a several mod versions incompatible each other since it cause confusion among the users and will leads additional questions.
Solving loader issue is just question of a couple days, so no reasons to do hasty decisions!


 1.09 worked splendidly with the old format, so I really don't see why the install method was changed. Why fix what isn't broken?

In any event, I'll gladly give this a try once the issues are fixed.

I managd to get it to work...


So basically i did this

step1: install a clean version of vampire the masquerade bloodlines
step2:install 1.2 official patch
step3: Install 9.4 unofficial patch
step4: install all the previous versions of antitribu 1.0 to 1.11 all in that order.
step5: Then i copied the vampire.dll and vampire.dll as instructed by runza


So far no problems....


As a side note, im impressed with the new necromancy :D

The Unofficial patch now uses a cracked exe. The fix that FleshArtist will be uploading to moddb shortly will also have a cracked exe.

It worked for me too.

I'm using Windows 7 64bits

1.- I installed the game in a new folder. Tried to run it, but crashed even before reaching the "New Game" stage.
2.- I installed Antitribu 1.1, ran it, but crashed when I tried to start a New Game.
3.- I installed UP 9.4, ran the game, it was patched vanilla version, but ran fine.
4.- I copied the mentioned dlls to the mod folder, ran the game, and it worked!

      I noticed now I can play both the patched vanilla and antitribu versions, depending on which link I click, that's nice.

      Also, it seems the dominate dialogs got fixed  :smile:

Congratulations, you've broke both game and mod ;) Versions 1.0x and 1.1x are incompatible each other because uses different installation methods.

Crack is when we're removing or break something in existing files, and UP just uses files that nothing to crack in - they are free from any protections by default. My hotfix for ATM uses these files too.

For those who have the original game crashing after installing Antitribu with latest hotfix:
Just just replace cl_dlls and dlls folders in Vampire/ directory with ones from Antitribu_Mod directory. This also solves problems for all other minor mods.

Good to know, I misunderstood. I was wondering why the exe you sent in PM's was a larger file size than the one installed in the UP. Makes sense now.

Alright so the game runs now with the hotfix, MUCH appreciated. But now I am having a bug where when I try to go into first person, I am unable to, and I can't attack. O.o The bug locks you in third person and disables the ability to use melee/brawl attacks.. and I imagine firearms as well.

I just made new .exe based on clean Source engine's sources, and it more friendly to the new OSes and a little better in memory control. The one included in UP was from HL2beta or other early Source builds.

Afaik the exe in the patch is the one from the bloodlines dvd version.
