ANTIRIBU 1.2 News and Updates?

So is there any news on antitribu 1.2?  It would be nice if we had some screenshots or videos of the progress for 1.2 as it would let us know that antitribu is alive.

It seems to me premature speak of the 1.2... if i don't mistake the next patch will be the 1.1.5...

However... yes, news would be well received.

Well, as I may have stated before, I'm planning to get out a 1.1.5 fix with some general improvements such as a restored Ocean House map, and some redone models. However, the computer I'm using now is only 2-3 months old, and I have yet to get all set up on it, which means installing Bloodlines and such. I will get it when I can as this computer had some stability issues earlier, those will hopefully be gone soon if they aren't already and I can get started on releasing 1.1.5 to you.

In addition, we have a new team assembled in short time, which is a positive development, I previously didn't expect to have new team members for at least half a year. I can't give you a specific time in which you can see the next patch, but I am quite sure I'll have it all ready before December. 1.2 we are also working on currently, but there's lots, and trust me, lots of work to do there, and still more team members needed.

The images on Moddb of that Sabbat church are an example of 1.2, it will be part of the Sabbat main quest.

May I ask what this is about? I am not aware a Ocean House map was cut from the game!

May I ask what this is about? I am not aware a Ocean House map was cut from the game!

I dont want to speak for Flesh Artist but I do know Antitribu added some enemy NPCs to Ocean House exterior so they could have removed them or something.

Yeah, and they changed the story as well which a lot of people didn't like. So maybe "restored" is meant in the sense of "original". I have this problem in the patch readme myself :)!

They changed the story? How so? Well I didn't particuarly mind the addition of those enemies but without explanation it didn't make a lot of sense. I know what a Pander is from reading White Wolf wiki (which is where most of my info about WoD other the info got from Bloodlines and Redemption comes from). It would properly be better if it was explained who they are and why they are there as well as there being a non-combat solution to those enemies being there such as through use of Persuasion or Dominate.

I think they moved the story from The Shining in the direction of The Ring by changing the newspaper texts and by even including a TV set...

Ah, well the TV set was an interesting conclusion. I honestly don't mind them changing the newspaper texts myself, well its a mod aren't they supposed to change things? *Waits to see his Reputation of 2 drop to 1 or lower*

Additionally, we have TVs that are turned on in the map which really doesn't make sense or add to a horror aesthetic. I know people can be very picky about how they feel when they play that level. (me personally, I just rush through it with cheats usually sense I feel it is sort of meaningless unless I feel otherwise). With that said, I always thought the old story was fascinating, the new one in the map is extremely cliché.

I see, I noticed the TV and didn't notice any of the other changes. It is a good level but can't help thinking there should be an alternative, if you ask the right things Terease even says you can bring the place down to the ground and theres equipment right there.

I agree with you there. The map didn't win an award for nothing so better keep the old story!

Yeah it is a good story, creepy and even believable, unnecessary jealousy and lack of control drive a man to murder. Some of the newspapers seem to be a little off to me but that can be said for other newspapers in the game too. It is also good that there's an Evil ghost and a Good ghost, rather than the traditional all ghosts are evil thing.

Any plans on expanding the original story for clan Nagaraja? (By using Nihilistics and whatnot)

Yes, for the Giovanni and Nagaraja, something a little...different will occur in the level.
