Quote from: DarkProphet on May 06, 2019, 06:08:49 amLmao I thought about trying to describe it, but that's almost exactly what I would say. Oh my...I just Googled it, and it looks like the Tremere symbol changed! Now instead of a ball-square-triangle thingy, it's a whole shitload of balls, squares, and a triangle!I'm reading about it and it's quite the complex piece of math and alchemy symbols. Goddamn tremeres !

On the bright side, it sounds like that blood-bond-to-the-higher-ups no longer exists in V5, which makes Tremere sound much more interesting from a pen and paper game perspective. I always hated the idea of playing a Tremere in the older versions of the pen and paper because I would expect to be doing secretive shenanigans with my clan, then my grandsire comes along like "Yo, tell me your secrets" and I have to due to the blood bond unless I can pass a willpower roll.

Unsung heroes of the World of Darkness when they battled the Tzimisce during the Dark Ages. Shame a few tumorheads like Bertram Tung don't seem to remember that !
I think the reason Kindred don't trust tremere is...well, two things: one, they are more devoted to their clan than a cause than most other clans, and two, they can do some really frightening stuff with their Disciplines/rituals. For example, there's a ritual they can do to create a stake which actually KILLS Kindred. Oh, and if you fail to hit the heart? A splinter will be inside the Kindred, wherever you stabbed it...and the splinter will magically move through the Kindred's body without it necessarily knowing it's happening, until the splinter pierces the heart...giving instant Final Death. You have to have another character attempt to remove the splinter, or lop the body part off (provided it's not in your head or your torso, in which case that's not a survivable option, really).

The next unlockable reward is the Haven Decoration Tremere Clan Sign.So that means very likely that Ventrue, Toreador and Nosferatu/Malkavian also get a Haven Decoration Clan Sign.
Lazy, but at least it's free, I suppose.

Hopefully some cool stuff! Could you imagine a visiting Kindred's reaction if they came into your haven and saw that you were flagging a Tzimisce clan symbol? Like...in the mortal world, that would be like going into someone's home and they've got a huge Nazi flag hanging from the wall. XD
