Agreed. Further supporting evidence is the Vein Pursuit campaign, which featured Outstar, Florian, Karim, and others.
Speaking of Vein Pursuit didn´t they established in some of their videos that the big Brujah biker is a rival to Nines and has attacked his  couriers?
I remember reading something about this in the RPG Codex but i don´t know where the quote was.So this guy could be reason why Nines himself is in Seattle to stop the Biker for likely killing Nines couriers.
And some gaming websites have writen stuff like this:  "I also asked if we might see some familiar faces, because it took three seconds for me to convince myself that a blurry silhouette I glimpsed for half a moment was Nines Rodriguez. “https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2019/03/22/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines-2-preview/

If the canon established, that Nines never left L.A., then that figure probably isn't Nines. To make up some reasons, why he should be in Seattle doesn't change that fact.
I don't think, the devs would ignore the canon like that.

Never say never again.  :vampwink: We don´t know the overall Bloodlines 2 and the Brujah Biker story seems plausible.

I believe that they work together and give Brian Mitsoda plenty of rope to let him tell his story. Yes White Wolf / Paradox owns WoD but Mitsoda created most original Bloodlines 1 characters so they find a way for every character that Mitsoda wants to return in Bloodlines 2. This also includes Nines.

So do we know who the courier from Nines was?

White Wolf changes canon as often as people change their underwear.

Damsel. I just finished watching the final episode of Vein Pursuit, and though no name is stated, the courier is described as a woman shouting profanities at a car she's trying to start, and she has "bright red hair" and is wearing a beret. Outstar's face was basically awesomeface.jpg at that reveal.

The Brujah biker guy - assuming it's him - is described as looking like he weighs 250 lbs in his mass in the last episode, and he goes by "Camouflage." It's entirely possible that it's a code name he's using and not his real name (or the name he'll go by in Bloodlines 2).

If the courier was Damsel and she arrived in Seattle just fine, what should Nines do there? I'm pretty sure they won't just copy all the Bloodlines anarchs!

First we don´t if see Damsel in Bloodlines 2. Lets assume we will see her that doesn´t rule out Nines.
Maybe Damsel is just a distraction or Nines doesn´t want to lose Damsel to this guy so he watch over her.
But you are right it doesn´t seem likely that they bring all Anarchs back. So Skelter has to stay home in LA.
If the courier story is just minor in Bloodlines 2 well i guess its just Damsel.

"Bitchy tomboy" was a fun persona. If they write well for her, I'd love to have her aboard again. Having her in the Vein Pursuit campaign doesn't guarantee that she'll still be in Seattle when we play, or that we'll even come across her, but it would be silly not to. She's a very memorable character from Bloodlines and is visually striking with her red hair, potty mouth, and beret, so it would make sense to put her in Bloodlines 2 since she'd be easy to update to modern graphics and be recognizable to fans, even if they drastically change her face and clothes (other than the hat).

Also, at no point in L.A. By Night has Damsel made an appearance, even in The Last Round, so she isn't tied down there and won't need to be back to make any appearances any time soon, as far as we know.

I agree, Damsel would make a great addition to Bloodlines 2. And judging from the fact, that she is already in Seattle, makes much more sense than Nines.

DEATH TO NINES !!!

Well I can't care much, I'll be happy to see even Lacroix again in BL2 because... it's BL2.

But I do wonder what the plans are right now. The health crisis is raging all over and I'm honestly wondering if that might have an effect on the publicity and development of the game. If this thing goes towards June then we might not even have an E3 convention.

Haha, Lacroix definitely won't be back, though "Prince Cross" is in it, which is cute since Lacroix meant "Cross." As for the health crisis, however, the Bloodlines 2 website states they're all working from home. They got their mocap stuff done, apparently, so they aren't indicating any slow-downs or problems. They just say they miss each other, basically.

As for E3, so what? YouTube and social media is all these devs need to deliver digital announcements and footage of stuff, really. Heck, they can just send their crap to all the news outlets and get it released in multiple videos from multiple sources. E3 isn't very good these days anyway.

Ha, we'll have to grab him by the head and yank that Scooby Doo mask right off! Assuming the Sheriff doesn't grab US by the head and just yank our skulls off!
