The CEO of Paradox just resigned and was replaced by her predecessor. Maybe this could have some positive effect on Bloodlines 2!

Who knows but i hope that we will see some changes. Maybe they should focus more on quality over quantity and greenlighting not that many games.
I mean are there any good WOD games from Paradox or from its partner Nacon? Maybe this Wraith VR is good but the rest? Mediocre at best.
And that is just WOD. Paradox has a lot more problems than just their WOD games.

"Employee survey at Paradox Interactive alleges gender discrimination and "mistreatment"
Survey conducted by union groups reports "culture of silence" among staff at company´s Swedish office.
Speaking to Breakit, Paradox's new CEO Fredrik Wester said there is no correlation between the results of the survey and Ljungerud's departure."

Maybe they should focus more on quality over quantity and greenlighting not that many games.

Paradox Interactive is the IP owner of World of Darkness. They personally publish exactly one WOD game, Bloodlines 2. In the cases of every other WOD game, they don't do anything other than approve it and then collect money. They could greenlight a thousand WOD games and it would have exactly zero impact on the quality of their own project.

Whether the WOD games produced by other publishers are any good doesn't need to matter to them because they invested $0 into those games and any royalties coming back from those projects are 100% profit.

If Paradox was micromanaging other companies' projects, who would want to do business with them?

Paradox Interactive cancels unannounced projects to focus the game development pipeline and writes down SEK 135 million in the third quarter.
Paradox Interactive has since the third quarter of 2020 cancelled unannounced projects that amount to SEK 265 million in write-offs.
The cancellation is a consequence of the company's strategy to focus resources and expertise on its proven game niches and projects that better meet the company's requirements on returns and risk, the company said.

Paradox Interactive now has fifteen new games in development, some are new titles and some are sequels.

Four of these have been announced (Victoria 3, Crusader Kings 3, Shadow Run Trilogy for Consoles and Bloodlines 2)
Who knows if Bloodlines 2 isn´t among the cancelled games but it doesn´t look that way because news is only about  unannounced games.
But with " focus resources and expertise on its proven game niches" you can make argument that Bloodlines 2 could finally be cancelled.
And Again we need a new & offical statement about the current status of the game.

Was about to make a thread about this. At least it doesn't seem like cancelling the game is in their short-term plans, but boy it doesn't help to hear about this if you are already worried.

On a different note, the more time passes the more I wonder just how bad things were for the game. I mean, you'd expect a statement by now, are they still trying to sort things out and can't make rough predictions on how long it will take to get it done? Or as some of us were saying they started from scratch? I really wish we had some insider leaks on the game's state.

Paradox Interactive now has fifteen new games in development, some are new titles and some are sequels on existing franchises. Four of these games have been announced; the much demanded grand strategy game Victoria 3, Crusader Kings 3 for consoles, the classic Shadowrun Trilogy for console and Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.

Bloodlines 2 mentioned in the same sentence as Victoria 3. their big release for next year. This is an official statement to share holders as well, so there's no reason to believe that the game still isn't in development.
