I hope they rather took that from "Babylon 5" so we get a good ending in Bloodlines 2 like in Bloodlines 1 and nothing stupid and improvised like in Mass Effect...

I think you mean "artistic".  LOL  j/k

Better only a bad ending than a whole horrible game (like battl-EA-front II)

True enough!  And being the hardcore dark and evil vampire that I am, I always download and use the "Happy Ending Mod" for ME3 coupled with the prologue mod that lets you make the Citadel DLC into your actual prologue ending.  So my game always ends with Shep and mostly everyone else alive and happy and having a fun party and then Shepard sharing a sweet moment with his love interest (usually Kaidan for me) before its back to business as usual. I am SO hardcore!

ME(H), I'd prefer a total depressive ending mod
(regarding the sucking topic, I'm derplexed perplexed)

Do you need a mod for that?  To me that is basically the unmodded game.  lol

(regarding the sucking topic, I'm derplexed perplexed)

As you are well aware, my kindred sibling, vampires feed on blood to survive and they do so by drinking the blood out of their (usually) mortal victims by biting into them and applying suction to draw the scarlet liquid from veins and arteries.  So when I, among others, was jokingly told that I sucked, being the ravenous Cainite that I am, I whole heartedly agreed that I sucked because hello, I'm a vampire.  And so I replied that I did it every chance I got.  Then a few minutes later, I thought "That could possibly be interpreted in more than one way", so I clarified what I meant.  :)

I meant an even more depressive ending (I haven't even played it, and I know I won't ever, but I know it's possible)

I got that. The point was I was left speechless XD

Agreed. The ME3 endings were soul-crushing for me.

Same.  When I first played the game in 2012, I lost sleep.  LOL

I don't know. I never agreed with the community on that issue.

I mean sure, everyone can dislike anything they want, but those endings had great worth, much of which went completely over people's heads.

When I first played the game in 2012, there was no such thing as the "Extended Cut DLC" so the word "endings" plural was a bit of a stretch for me.  lol

Even if I don't know how it ended I may guess how it could have been worse:
- it could be raining
- it could be battlEAfront II
- it could be any other recent EA "game"
- trump would be re-elected
- the happy ending happens as planned, everybody happy, you marry your soul mate, countless children and nephews, on your death bed (after a long happy lifetime) surrounded by the whole family and all your friends, you start feeling fading out like you're ready to die peacefully.... But. The dying feeling is only the drugs fading off, needle still on your arm, which you bought whoring yourself (and your alien client is still consuming the service in all your orefices, under the finger/toenails includes), and inevitabily you remember you survived the bad ending only to being haunted by the neverending overwhelming guilt. And it's a sunny day.

Seems like these cyclical extinction events are a video game theme!

Or maybe the White Wolf crew really loved Mass Effect... as they should.

I hope they rather took that from "Babylon 5" so we get a good ending in Bloodlines 2 like in Bloodlines 1 and nothing stupid and improvised like in Mass Effect...

I was about to write exactly the same thing. Nothing against ME, but Babylon 5 did it way better (of course I'm a bit biased about my favorite tv show)
