Not a bad analysis but it's a bit rigid. Not every build will need to be centered on combat.

Totally agree. I feel like an unscrupulous mini-max-er.

My first version had a way broader view but ended up being like 22mins long! That stuff was even looser since I feel like I know even less about non-combat progression, except what I know from VtMB and the dialogue lists in the early gameplay footage.

Sorry if I came off rigid. I'm totes a "for fun" first kind of guy and don't knock anyone's playstyle. Cheers! Thanks for commenting.

I hope so...

Yeah, combat was so broken (imo) in VtMB, that most--if not all--of my favorite parts of the game don't revolve around it. Moreso the lore, setting, mood, theme, NPC interactions, and crazy quests.

I think, based on disciplines, the Malks and Ventrue are going to have really great social gameplay options. It'll be great to see the ways they can subvert or circumvent quest objectives altogether. Toreador, I think, will be balanced for combat/non-combat. Brujah? intimidation or bust. And I wonder if being Tremere will be as stigmatized in the Kindred community w/the fall of the Pyramid.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. It's fun for me to interact w/people about it. I don't really know anyone IRL that plays.
