Gratz on 9.0!

I'm trying to download, they are only giving me 15k, which means another 6 hours to download the patch. There's a real problem with Patches-Scrolls.de, this clearly is not 'just' happening on the holidays.
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

My gosh, you should consider to upload the patch to some other kind of web, Mega, Mediafire or something else, its taking me 10 hours to download 336mb, the game it self wieghts 2.50 GB and took me 45 minutes to download it!! The download speed is just insanely ridiculous from The Patches Scrolls...

I am new to this game, was checking out which patches i should use, but with this download speed i am really considering about to use another patch. I know it is not your fault The Patches Scrolls download speed, but you should really give us another options.

I have been holding myself not to spoil stuff about this, but this patch is awesome! I got it 4 days ago and came to the Warrens, it has been great until that point. I couldn't play further though. Anyway, thanks Wesp.

You're evil, Rick.

By the way, is it possible to remove the information boxes during the tutorial? Like the "Skip Intro"? I hate having the click all the way, but dont want to skip it and lose the gun, bat and the lockpick. CE had an option to go through the tutorial area by yourself, without the info boxes :)

If the CE can do it, the UP could do it too, but I'm all for restoring content and not removing it :)!

Yeah, but can't you add another option? I know this will fall under modding, but it would be really cool in UP :)

Sorry, but the tutorial is one of the worst parts to edit and I'm not touching it when I don't really need to ;)!

Final touches to the v9.0 look fine to me, I've checked all files. Occult Nut got it's bonus, Nosferatu "rescuing" Carson too.

I entered the LA Library - rotunda looks much better after it's stained with blood and shooting the walls - no flickering at all!! I only thought you will also restore your changes to wall lamp shadows you've removed(since they shouldn't flicker now if I'm right)?

0.1 second delay to hide stuff in the S.M. Suites should do the trick, only issue that still remains is the (double) silver ring. I wanted to suggest to somehow bind it to existing python "spawnRing()" so it always get the check value "1" if it's picked up. Can this be done with python help?
Also I think that silver ring still might block some items from hiding(book and key from what I see in python) - only if player already has ring in inventory already, because I see it's still called "ring" not "ring2", like the other collectible items on second map. I overlooked the ring name since we agreed that ring alone (not)being picked up properly wasn't such a big deal(until ring stacking and setting it's value is fixed). Need a playthrough check on this.

Oh, and nice work on patching up the Asylum, I didn't know that hole is fixable without recompiling the map!

I didn't see any lamp shadows even before my fix...

No, but I could write a special Python script for it...

... and I certainly do that just to be sure.

Oh, so you really noticed it? Atrblizzard pointed it out to me and it was quite some work to find a roof model that would fit the wrong way around and could close it ;)!

Update: I just checked the map and using a Python script seems to be out of the question as the pickup is not being recognized. So can you please check out if the ring2 issue is valid as it seems the game doesn't treat the rings as seperate entities anyway...
